Who Are The Rising Stars^®?

In 1996 The Rising Stars^® Showchoir Workshop was created by Lori Palmisano and Julie Petrando in the Chicagoland area. Their goal was to provide a positive environment for young people who wish to explore and develop their skill in singing, dancing, and performing during the summer. We are eager to celebrate our 14th season and we look forward to encouraging participants to follow their dreams through the thrill of performing.

The Rising Stars® Showchoir Workshop seeks to nurture a love of performing in students of all ages. Through the music, performers are challenged and encouraged to reach a level of excellence while developing pride, confidence, discipline, self-esteem and other important life skills.

At The Rising Stars® we believe in nurturing the heart of the child through the experience of fun, familiar music that speaks to today’s young performer.
